Located in London, Rooney is the world's oldest
manufacturer of premium quality shaving brushes in the
classic "English style" with the dome shaped head. This is one of the most
revered lines of brushes available today. We also carry the Rooney Heritage line of brushes, known for their unique handle shapes and superior quality of badger hair.
All Rooney brushes use badger hair that has been hand sorted and hand filled into the finest handles, all of which are lathe turned and hand polished. Vintage Blades is pleased to offer these brushes in all three classic Rooney styles in faux Ivory, and for most brushes, also in both faux Ebony and faux Horn. Also note that, unless stated otherwise, all our brushes are filled with the highest grade of 3-band badger hair currently available from Rooney, their Super Silvertip.
* PLEASE NOTE: Different brush manufactures name their grades of hair differently. There are no specific international standards for grading badger hair. That is why it’s important to purchase a quality brush from a source that you can trust.
* Brush specification are those supplied by the manufacturer and are checked and updated by us on a continuing basis. However, with handmade brushes "Brush Loft" is the one specification that can vary from brush to brush and from lot to lot. Vintage Blades can not guarantee that your brush will match these specifications exactly.
