New Products - Just Arrived
o We have just expanded our popular line of Vintage Blades brand products to include an assortment of value priced multi-blade razors and 3-piece sets. Although we are admittedly not big fans of these razors, the growing number of customer requests made it clear that we were missing an opportunity. The sets all include a razor for either the Mach 3 or Fusion cartridges, a matching stand, and a matching shaving brush filled with our well reviewed 2-band Finest Badger.
o We are pleased to introduce our VB Brand of shaving brushes. We contracted to have this line of shaving brushes made entirely to our specification. Everything from the shape of the handle to the type of hair used and even details such as the loft of the brush was specified to create a brush to meet the needs of even the most discriminating shaver at an affordable price.
o Vintage Blades is pleased to be affiliated with the most highly praised handcrafted, artisan soap makers in America today.
Mike's Natural Soaps are “Handmade in Brooklyn, NY” by a convert to wet shaving who wished to explore the art of making soap using “natural, skin nurturing, eco-friendly ingredients”. Mike’s soaps all contain tallow, as well as kokum butter, shea butter, avocado oil, kaolin clay, and lanolin and are scented with natural essential oils.
Mystic Water
Shaving Soap comes from our home state of Maryland. They are made by a
soap artisan who uses tallow that she renders herself from the beef suet
she gets from a local Maryland farm that raises grass-fed beef. She
adds organic unrefined shea butter, castor oil, palm oil, avocado oil
and stearic acid along with extra glycerin, bentonite clay, aloe vera
leaf juice, wheat protein and liquid silk to produce a soft soap that
lathers quickly with a brush to make a thick, creamy, protective lather
that is gentle and non-drying, excellent for even sensitive skin and
tough beards.
Queen Charlotte Soaps are handmade, as you might expect, in a suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina, which is known as the Queen City, in small batches entirely “from scratch and by hand”. Their shaving soaps and creams are all tallow based, scented with natural essential oils, and free of colorants. Their shaving creams, which are certified to be 100% formaldehyde and paraben free, are dense and hard and best used with a shaving brush.
